The Rostov Arena is the be used as part of a new city centre in the city of Rostov as it is part of a large project built on the southern bank of the River Don. The venue itself was built for the 2018 World Cup in Russia and it will be the home of Russian Premier League side FC Rostov, who left their previous home of Olimp--2.

The Rostov Arena will host four group stage matches and a round-of-sixteen tie at the 2018 World Cup.
