Uruguay came in to the World Cup via a play-off against Costa Rica and seemed on paper to be the weakest of the teams to qualify from South America. However, when the draw for the World Cup was made they would have had one eye on qualifying through to the last sixteen. A 0-0 draw with France on the first day gave them a good base to work from and fine wins against hosts South Africa and Mexico meant that they avoided Argentina and qualified as Group A winners. The Uruguay side is solid, keep the ball well and in Diego Forland and Luis Suarez they have players who can put the ball into the back of the net.

Getting goals was going to be a concern for South Korea but they've managed to get goals in each of their first three games of the World Cup, where they got a win, draw and loss to come through as Group B runners-up. The win against Greece in their opening match proved crucial and the 2-2 draw with Nigeria in the last was enough to see them through to face Uruguay.

Uruguay Form

Uruguay are yet to concede at the 2010 Fifa World Cup and have scored four goals in their three matches. The way they disposed of a spirited South Africa side in their second match was clinicla and they'll need their forwards to bring that kind of game to the table against South Korea.
