Recife - Arena Pernambuco
The Itaipava Arena Pernambuco is a new multi-use stadium in Recife which is located in the north-east of Brazil. The stadium, which will host five matches at Brazil 2014, has a capacity of 46,160 making it one of the smaller venues used for the World Cup.
Arena Pernambuco opened to the world in May 2013 with the first match contested between Nautico and Sporting Lisbon, which ended in a 1-1 draw. It will now host three Confederation Cup matches this summer before being home to a series of matches at the World Cup, including one of Brazil's.
