World Cup Play-Offs Betting

The World Cup Play-offs for the 2014 tournament in Brazil will be played between the period of the 15th and 19th of November 2013. The eight runners up from the European qualification zone will play over two legs, providing four places in the finals in Brazil. There are also two inter-continental play-offs between the fifth placed team in South American qualifying, plus one team from the CONCACAF region. The other intercontinental play-off will be between the top side from the Oceania zone and the fourth best side in the Asian qualifying. We'll know exactly who will contest the play-offs at the end of qualifying in November 2013.

Europe:

Eight teams will contest the European qualification play-offs on the 15th and 19th November.

Ten teams are battling it out for five spots in the 2014 World Cup from African qualifications.

Ivory Coast win 4-2 on aggregate and qualify for the World Cup finals.

14:30 - Sun 17th Nov - Cameroon (4) 4 - 1 (1) Tunisia 2nd Leg -

Cameroon win 4-1 on aggregate and qualify for the World Cup finals.

16:00 - Tue 19th Nov - Egypt (3) 2 - 1 (7) Ghana 2nd Leg -

Ghana win 7-3 on aggregate and qualify for the World Cup finals.

18:15 - Tue 19th Nov - Algeria (3) 1 - 0 (3) Burkino Faso 2nd Leg -

Algeria win on away goals after drawing 3-3 on aggregate and qualify for the World Cup finals.

Intercontinental Play-Offs:

There are two play-off matches between intercontinents. New Zealand who qualified from the Oceania group will face Mexico who were fifth in the CONCACAF region, whilst Uruguay will take on the fifth ranked team in Asia Jordan.
