Peter Mokaba Stadium

The Peter Mokaba Stadium is one of the five new venues being built for the 2010 World Cup and it is situated in the city of Polokwane. The stadium is named after the late anti-apartheid activist Peter Mokaba and is a hero in Polokwane where he was born and was a popular choice for the name.

The venue will host four group matches during the tournament with the first match taking place on Sunday June 13th between two teams from Group C which is bound to be an exciting occasion for the locals.
