New Zealand has done well to get two points from two games from their opening two fixtures at the 2010 World Cup but qualification would require a victory over Paraguay and Italy to win by less, draw or lose against Slovakia. A point for Paraguay from this match is likely to be enough to top the group.

Match Day Squads and Key Players

The two teams will be very important for the outcome of the result as both Managers hope to avoid picking up any injuries or suspensions ahead of meeting on the 24th June. New Zealand have a thin squad to pick from so will need their big names to be involved if they are to have any chance at all of upsetting the odds. Ryan Nelson of Blackburn is their star name and he will need to be on great form for the underdogs.

Paraguay do have a stronger squad but are still short of star names so will want to get as close to their best eleven out on the pitch as possible as they look to make a step towards the next round. Roque Santa Cruz of Man City has been banging in the goals for the South Americans for a number of years and he will need to do the same in South Africa this Summer.
