Paraguay were the surprise winners of Group F having drawn with New Zealand and World Cup holders Italy and beaten group runners-up Slovakia. They go in to the match as the bookmakers favourites but there will be some concern as to where the goals will come from after drawing a blank against New Zealand in their final group game. In Roque Santa Cruz and Lucas Barrios they have a couple of big forwards who are happy to hold the ball up and bring the midfield in to play.

Japan are one of the suprise outfits of the 2010 World Cup, after having odds of 200/1 to win their group and being odds on to finish bottom they won both games against Cameroon and Denmark to finish runners-up in Group E with six points. The win over Denmark to get them into the last sixteen was really impressive. The likes of Keisuke Honda and Yasuhito Endo are both deadly from free-kicks and they ran the Danes ragged.
