Japan v Greece Betting
2014 World Cup - Group C
19th June - KO: 11pm BST -
Japan and Greece meet in Natal on the 19th June for what could be the key match of the group for both teams. If either team have designs on qualification from Group C they will surely have to perform here with the two strongest teams, Colombia and Ivory Coast, meeting in the other game having both lost to them at the weekend. Japan were beaten 2-1 by the Ivory Coast having taken the lead whilst Greece looked a poor outfir when losing 3-0 to Colombia.
The betting for this one is likely to be extremely tight with both sides expected to struggle to qualify. Japan cruised their qualifying section to become the first team to progress to the 2014 World Cup while the Greeks had to come via the play-off route in Europe. We all remember Greece shocking the world in 2004 to win the European Championships but few expect them to do the same in 2014 with Group C looking like a tough one for them, on paper at least.

- Confederations Cup - Sun 19th June 2005 - Greece 0-1 Japan
Keisuke Honda - The creative heartbeat of the Japan midfieldand is likely to be one of the key men for them in Brazil. Honda is a free-kick specialist for his club CSKA Moscow and has long attracted attention from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Vasilis Torosidis -Roma have been in great form in Serie A recently and the Greeks will be hoping that defender, Vasilis Torosidis, can be a rock for them during the World Cup. The 28-year-old has been a main-stay in the heart of the Greek defence in recent years and he will need to be at his best if they are to stand a chance here.
