2014 World Cup - Group E
20th June - KO: 11pm BST -
Honduras have their work cut out in Group E and their second match of the 2014 World Cup comes against Ecuador and with the pair losing their first games on Sunday this is a must-win clash between the two sides who are outsiders to progress from what is an intriguing quartet of nations housed in the table.
Honduras will only be playing in their third World Cup after qualifying for the prestigious tournament in third place in the CONCACAF qualfication, but they will face a stiff test in Curitiba against an Ecuador side who edged out Uruguay and claimed the fourth and final spot for Brazil in the South American group stages.
Some believe Ecuador could be potential dark horses in this group and may challenge the aforementioned Switzerland and France for progression to the second round and they will be confident that they can dispatch the relative minnows in Honduras with aplomb and bag all three points in this clash.
Ecuador have been installed as odds-on favourites for this match against Honduras.
