2014 World Cup - Group G
21st June - KO: 8pm BST -
The Germany v Ghana clash in Group D of the 2014 World Cup promises to be an interesting match for a number of reasons. The pair met in the group stages in South Africa four years ago, whilst we could see two brothers playing against each other in the shape of Jerome (Germany) and Kevin-Prince Boateng.
This is the second match of Group D for both teams, in what looks a competitive group. Germany powered past a poor Portugal side 4-0 on Monday whilst Ghana lost for the first time in three meetings with the USA.
Germany came out on top the only time the pair have met, winning 1-0 thanks to a Mezut Ozil goal in the group stages of the 2010 World Cup. Germany qualified with ease for the finals winning their group in qualification, whilst Ghana were impressive when beating Egypt 7-3 on aggregate.
Germany are odds on favourites for this match and will be expected to take all three points..
