France v Honduras Betting
2014 World Cup - Group E
15th June - KO: 8pm BST -
France managed to book their place at the 2014 World Cup by edging out Ukraine in a tense play-off encounter which saw Didier Deschamps' side scrape through 3-2 on aggregate having lost the first leg 2-0, but the 1998 winners will be hoping that they can recapture their form when they face Group E minnows Honduras in Port Alegre on June 15.
Honduras will be making only their third appearance at a World Cup and surprisingly finished above Mexico in CONCACAF qualification to book their automatic spot in the draw, but they will face a stiff test in Group E which will see them lock horns with the aforementioned France, top seeds Switzerland and Ecuador in an intriguing group.
Whilst Honduras have often struggled in front of goal and during their qualification often drew a blank, they will face a French side that on their day can ooze class going forward and with talismanic attacking threat Karim Benzema twinned with the Arsenal hotshot Olivier Giroud they could cause some problems for the Honduran defence.
Unsurprisingly, France are warm favourites to kick off their campaign on a winning note.

Head to Head
The two teams have never met before.
Karim Benzema - One of the leading contenders for the Golden Boot, Karim Benzema has led the line with aplomb this season for Champions League winner Real Madrid and the French hotshot will look to continue his imperious attacking form when he looks to unlock what could be a vulnerable Honduras rearguard, who may find it difficult to deal with the Frenchman's class up front.
Wilson Palacios - The former Wigan Athletic and Tottenham Hotspur enforcer is now plying his trade at the Britannia Stadium at Stoke City and will be one of the familiar faces donning the Honduran strip against France as he looks to break down the French attacks in front of the back four.
