Cameroon won Group I in African qualification for the World Cup finals in Brazil 2014. The Lions had a tough group containing Libya, Congo and Togo, but winning the group then saw the Cameroon get into the straight knockout round for the World Cup in 2014, beating Tunisia 4-1. The African nation have been handed a tough draw in Group A alongside Brazil, Mexico and Croatia.
Cameroon lost their opening game of the tournament 1-0 to Mexico on Friday and were dumped out of the tournament with a game to play when losing to Croatia 4-0 in Manaus on Wednesday night. A 4-1 defeat against hosts Brazil on Monday meant the African side have now lost their last seven games at the World Cup
