Brazil World Cup Betting

Brazil are always one of the favourites in any Major tournament they enter and the 2010 World Cup will be no different as they are sure to be contenders as they have an array of world class players. Brazil hold the record for the most victories which stands at five with their most recent victory coming in 2002 when they beat Germany in the World Cup Final.

Brazil are managed by the legendary Dunga ho himself lifted the trophy in 1994 and he will be hoping to do the same as a Coach in South Africa. The Brazilians are currently ranked at No.1 in the World and as such will automatically enter the tournament as one of the favourites.

Brazil have been drawn in Group G of the World Cup which looks tough, including Portugal, Ivory Coast and North Korea.

The 2006 World Cup was somewhat of a failure for such a good side when they were knocked out at the Quarter-Final stage 1-0 by a Zinedine Zidane led France. They will be hoping to improve on that in South Africa and Dunga will be under immense pressure to do just that as a similar result is likely to see him out of a job.

Current Form and Key Players

Brazil are in good form currently having won the 2009 Confederations Cup in South Africa and also looking relatively comfortable in the South America Qualification Group. They have performed well in qualification including beating rivals Argentina to seal their place at South Africa and Dunga looks to have the team working well.
