Brazil head to the Soccer City Stadium for what perhaps will be their first real test of the 2010 World Cup after beating North Korea 2-1 in their opener. Brazil are one of the leading fancies for the tournament outright and will be expected to have picked up three points against the North Koreans. The Ivory Coast will pose a whole different test for the boys from South America though as they will face a strong powerful unit that are out to ruffle a few feathers and qualify for the last 16. The Ivory Coast are an excellent team who have greatly improved in recent years and led by Didier Drogba they will be a handful for anyone including the mighty Brazil.
With the Ivory Coast and Portugal drawing in their first match in this Group then realistically there are three teams going for two places as North Korea are expected to be the group whipping boys. That of course means that this will be a vital match for both sides if they have designs of making it through to the last sixteen.
The Brazilians are nearly always the favourites to win any match and this one against the Ivory Coast is no different, the Brazilians qualified well for the tournament and the bookies are backing them to take the win. The Africans are up against it according to the odds but they should not be ruled out completely, it is quite feasible that they can nick a draw if on top form and there is some good value for that result.

Match Day Squads and Key Players
Brazil will take to the World Cup one of the strongest squads out of all the teams which is one of the reasons they are so well backed in the World Cup Betting. However, they will not want to pick up too many injuries ahead of a tough game against the Ivory coast who will be scrapping for their lives. they will need the likes of Robinho and Kaka to be at their magical best and we will bring all the latest team news for Brazil and their likely starting line-up as it comes in.
There will be no bigger test for the Ivory Coast at the World Cup than facing Brazil and Didier Drogba will need to be on top form if they are to have a chance. On his best form he is unplayable so while he stays in good shape then they should never be ruled out even against a team like Brazil.

Brazil in particular will want to take the win here as they will not want to leave it until they face Portugal in the last game if they are yet to qualify, Portugal may not be as strong as they were four years ago but they will still pose Brazil one or two problems.
