The Estadio Nacional is a superby designed stadium that is located in Brazil's capital city Brasilia. It is an ulta-modern multi-purpose venue that will be used for both the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games. It is currently is being restructured for both events and in 2014 will have a capacity of 70,064 making it the second largest of the 12 stadiums used at the World Cup.
The Estadio Nacional will host seven games at the showcase tournament, including four group games (one of which will involve Brazil), a round of 16 game, a quarter-final, and the match to decide third place. Furthermore it will be used for the opening match of the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup between Brazil and June which takes place in June 15.
